SellCar

Company description

Vehis is a rapidly growing automotive company specializing in the sale of vehicles along with additional services such as vehicle financing in various models, insurance, and vehicle servicing. The company aims to provide innovative solutions that meet the needs of both individual and business customers. The company, operating in a highly competitive environment, was looking for a way to streamline sales processes and stand out in the market. In response to these needs, the SellCar project was created – a modern system for booking and managing car offers.

Project description

The SellCar project was aimed at creating a comprehensive tool for handling processes related to offering, reservations and selling cars along with additional services. The key idea was to design a web panel that would simplify the process of managing offers, enable quick publication of offers and provide convenient browsing of vehicles by customers. The project included integration with existing Vehis systems, as well as the introduction of modules to support administrative, dealer and logistics activities. The SellCar project proved that the digital transformation of sales processes can become a key success factor in the leasing market, and Vehis gained a competitive advantage and new growth opportunities thanks to it.

Project goals

To create an intuitive web panel for managing car offers

Enable customers to quickly view and book lease offers online

Integrate the system with other Vehis tools to create a cohesive ecosystem

Speeding up the processes of publishing offers by automating and optimizing the work of administrators

Ensuring the scalability of the system, enabling it to support an increasing number of offers and users

Web panel

The web panel was a key component of the SellCar project. Designed with ease of use in mind, it offered dedicated functions for different user groups. Administrators were able to quickly publish new listings using the bulk data import function, and gained the ability to manage their listings in real time. Using advanced filters, customers could easily search for cars based on parameters such as model, fuel type and availability.

The panel also enabled automatic processing of photos, allowing them to be quickly compressed and published without loss of quality. In addition, a module was introduced to update prices in response to market changes and to integrate with leasing and insurance processes.

Challenges

The implementation of the SellCar project presented several significant challenges. One was optimizing the large number of high-resolution images that dealers were uploading. It was necessary to implement a compression system to ensure fast loading of listings in the web panel. In addition, as the offerings grew, it was necessary to ensure the scalability of the system to handle the growing number of users and vehicles. This required optimizing the search and filtering of data, as well as ensuring the performance of the entire system.
